Douglas Development has experienced in-house construction teams, comprised of masonary, carpentry, drywall, electrical, and demolition experts that are skilled at the art of historic preservation. In the redevelopment of historic mixed-use buildings, our construction teams utilize as many original materials as possible. In addition to our internal teams, we work with a core group of subcontractors on each project, thereby obtaining the best possible pricing and ensuring a consistently high standard of quality.

Located on the East End’s bustling F Street Corridor, 1155 F Street features a tasteful blend of restored historic architecture and modern construction. The project features two distinct structures, a historically renovated 7-story office building and a new 12-story office building. Both structures have been creatively connected allowing the project to face the entire length of F Street between 11th -12th. Street level retail will feature over 17,000 RSF of highly visible space with an additional 19,000 RSF located on the lower level. Exciting area retailers include Guess, Forever 21, and H&M.

1155 F Street is a mixed-use project featuring a combination of historic office building and a newly constructed office tower. These two structures are connected together and will offer over 250,000 RSF, with over 26,000 RSF dedicated to premium retail space. Amenities include: convenient underground parking, floor-to-ceiling glass in the new tower, furnishings, “green” roof terrace, tenant only fitness facility with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, 24 hour staffed security with electronic access control, and CCTV monitoring.
