Wonder Plaza at Howard University was the former Wonder Bread Bakery. The conversion from bakery/warehouse to retail and office use was Douglas Development's first large project. The project size is a total of 100,000 square feet (40,000 square feet of retail and 60,000 square feet of office). Retail for students includes Subway and Willie's Records, among many others.
