Located in Historic Olde
Towne Gaithersburg, Granary Row stands as an example
of how a thoughtfully designed renovation project
can revitalize an historic property.
Originally built in the 1920’s, the building stood
vacant and marred by fire since 1987. Douglas Development
renovated the existing structure and added a 10,000
square foot wing while preserving the historic integrity
of the site.
Today, Granary Row is a thriving mixed-use project
consisting of restaurants, retail shops, professional
offices, and an upscale automotive shop.
Tenants include Buffalo
Billiards, Starpower, US ArmyCorps of Engineers and
many others.
About the Building:
- Total Square Footage is 36,000
- Project Awarded the 1997 A.I.A. Design Merit
Award (GTM Architects)
